2 passes at Southend,
No power ups, Nice to see but seeing that a lot of people got power ups its a shame Southend Did not,

Like I say though,Still nice to see.

I'm glad I went to Duxford in the end, as I very nearly did opt for a visit to Southend.

BBC "Look East" local news reported this on their Sunday evening programme. Whilst describing the aircraft and it's manouvers, they showed film of the B17 taking off & flying. :S

Duxford was quite busy yesterday with the Classic wings Rapides going up with the Spitfires. P-51 Ferocious Frankie went up, as did the B-17, Blenheim & the Catalina. There was also a Chipmunk & Texan doing circuits as well, it was like a mini airshow. The P-51 did a screaming low pass, almost cutting the grass!!!
