Cool update. Will be clicking some HH-60 shots for sure.
What a cool line up now, do we have one more update or do they keep going till the week before. Can't remember when last years final update was.
This years show is a terrific job given the many obstacles I am sure were in the way of any international entry. Well done chaps. :thumb:

By my count, we've got two more Thursday updates before they are announced when confirmed.

Immense participation list this year, looking to be one of the best for a number of year's. Heavies wise we've got 5x C-130s (Belgian, Dutch, USAFSOC, Jordanian & Qatari), 2x A400s (Luftwaffe & RAF), 1x C-160D (Luftwaffe), 1x E-3A (NATO), 1x P-8A (USN), 1x 737AEW&C (RAAF), 3x C-17A (Canadian, RAF, USAF), 1x KC-767 (JASDF), 1x A330MRTT (RAF, 1x KC-135R (USAF), 1x B-1 (USAF) & 1x B-52 (USAF), static park should look decent! :thumb:

Nighthawke

They don't mean the longest day in terms of the Summer Solstice, longest day in RIAT terms is when lots of flight planning and details are ironed out

I have to say, after 35 years in this hobby, I didn't know what he meant either! Must be a Twitter generation thing, we oldies wouldn't have been told things like that!

Appears that both the F-22 & Thunderbirds will NOT be displaying on the Friday. Thunderbirds website seems to confirm this.

More than likely considering they are both taking part in Bastille Day flypasts over Paris that day :- https://www.sortiraparis.com/news/basti ... ce/lang/en

Having said that you'll see them fly (together for a flypast??) on Friday as they'll take off and recover!

They'll be based at RIAT for the week, so will have to take off and land there. Would imagine they'd be flying a display friday too or that's incredibly bad advertising, which I doubt the show would do.

Maybe not the f22s involved in Paris, but again doubt we'd not have a display given it's one of the best! Hope I am not wrong....

The Friday show is only a short one so they could quite conceivably not be in it. I haven't seen anything to say either the T'birds or F22 are definitely part of the Friday line up from a full display point of view ( happy to be shown that I missed it! ) so it hasn't been badly advertised at all if they don't.

No worries mate, Friday is likely to be the only day I can do - and having quite enjoyed it last year - I've been watching that page with baited breath!

Not trying to start any arguements here but flying can just mean a flypast, it doesn't have to mean a full display. Hopefully it does indeed mean they are doing a full show :thumb:
