Yes they do
(Have a little look through the Current Mil Photo section at the Iniochos posts)

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2023 General Discussion Thread
All Stallions are operated by the Air Force now, the ones carrying (C*)HEER(S*) were from when they were operated by the Army.
Another cracking update, great support from the Germans as usual.
*Zapped!

The Hellenic Air Force update will likely be Zeus Demo Team as they have self confirmed (as mentioned further up this thread).
Here’s hoping for some Phantoms though!

Both have attended in the same year in the past - fingers crossed they do so again.Campbell89 wrote: ↑Fri May 05, 2023 8:05 amThe Hellenic Air Force update will likely be Zeus Demo Team as they have self confirmed (as mentioned further up this thread).

Hopefully! Just looking through previous years and it’s seems it was 2017 when the Hellenic Phantoms were last here.

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2023 General Discussion Thread
Phantoms from Turkey or Greece & a decent US participation & maybe some Indian fighters then it’ll be back to pre covid RIAT. Might even get a FRIAT pass again next year
Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2023 General Discussion Thread
Turkish F-4E OOS date now extended to 2030 due to getting barred from the F-35 acquisition programme. Possible RIAT attendees, but not likely imo.
Greek F-4E (AUP) would be more likely to attend. The Indian Air Force have this year deployed to 'Veer Guardian' Exercise in Hyakuri, Japan./ Cobra Warrior, Waddington./ Exercise 'Orion' in Mont-de-Marsan. France & latterly Iniochos 23, Greece just recently. The chances of them coming to RIAT are reduced, BUT not impossible.
US. participation at this time remains dire, but it's quite likely a B-1 will break on deployment in June & be static for RIAT?

Keep hoping for the best GVLCN !

At a guess there will be a big update for US participation soon

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2023 General Discussion Thread
Don't hold your breath, the FRIAT forum seemed to mention there's less involvement from them if there's not a huge operational value. I'd expect the usual MH/LN hardware.
US DOD Policy changed post RIAT 2019 which restricts the participation of US military aircraft in airshows outside the continental USA. There now needs to be an operational reason for aircraft to be in Europe before any participation at RIAT can be authorised, or an exemption to policy granted at the highest level, This makes us welcoming aircraft based in the US (such as Bombers, Tankers and Transports which may have been considered 'run of the mill pre-COVID) much more difficult than previously. The team is working hard to overcome the challenges, and this has no impact on USAFE participation,
Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2023 General Discussion Thread
2 f-15’s & 2 f-35’s & 2 f-16’s plus maybe some assets in Europe at the time will be good enough for me, I wouldn’t write off the usaf as it is there base.

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2023 General Discussion Thread
You did say "Big" update - that's almost the norm, hence me saying that - I wasn't writing them off
Don't think it being "their" base matters (technically it's the RAF's leased to the USAF).

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2023 General Discussion Thread
Big update might be a bit far fetched but considering they have so many assets deployed in European theatre during RIAT i’m sure we might have more than last years line up.
Personally want to see a line of f-35’s from different nations will be a 1st & a phantom of any country is what we all want!
