Did they take the money etc? Might be worth email / phoning

Communication regarding FRIAT has been very quiet this year, nothing posted in the members area etc. Hopefully as last weeks email said passes should be mailed out shortly
Posh are going to Wembley (albeit for a tin cup)

They have taken my money and also have confirmation and it appears in my orders, did not receive the email but not too concerned as didn't receive the FRIAT email for the harriers or the forum seem to have been missed off the list, I know others who also have.

Out of curiosity, is anyone else here still waiting for their FRIAT pass to arrive?

Very odd, maybe worth giving them a call.

Yep, mine hasn't arrived either. I emailed yesterday and was told it had been posted a week ago, and the address was correct. So if I were you I'd contact them as it's quite likely lost in the post. I was offered an e-ticket to get me by until I arrive at the enclosure where I'd be issued a replacement or a replacement sent out. It was suggested I waited until the end of this week in case Royal Mail do manage to find it and post it.

So my issue was with the Red Gate on Saturday morning, probably 60 mins waiting patiently in line. The guy with the bar code ‘zapper’ was absolutely clueless as to how it worked, held the queue up and couldn’t even speak to or acknowledge what his team leader was saying to him. The basic bit of targeting the red light with the bar code was lost on him. Having finally gotten to my turn with him the message for me from his colleague was to go to their computer man at one end of the tented Gate - my badge was bad. Computer man couldn’t understand why my FRIAT badge wouldn’t scan, called over a team leader/supervisor. Response from the team leader without trying to explain anything was “FRIAT?, Go and join the Queue!” No explanation as to why the zapper or badge failed, just effectively start again. A short firm exchange from me, and I was let through. Not great customer service.

Yes I was in the big queue on Saturday at red. It was not very slick.
Can anyone please tell me are those security guys being paid or are they volunteers?
If they're being paid, then we should give negatively feedback but if volunteers then maybe cut them some slack.
I do share your frustration as it took me over an hour to get in.
On a positive note all the FRIAT staff I met were very courteous and helpful. I was very impressed with them. Thanks and well done all of those guys. Can anyone please tell me were the young staff in the marquee air cadets?
