The A10 and the F35 show dates have been released. Nothing showing for RIAT yet

Yet again the comments on social media are shocking and embarrassing toward the teams, because no RIAT or any UK shows.

Both the F-35 and A-10 demo's appear to have a gap big enough to attend RIAT, could be that they are holding some announcements back as always?

RIAT very rarely appears on schedules during ICAS. It is usually later that things get moved around and RIAT added.

I'll update this as more announcements are made

Keep an eye on the consolidated USAF listings. They have an A10 Demo (Heritage Flight?) scheduled for RIAT weekend at an 'Pending Airshow'

F35 also is at a 'pending airshow' that weekend though given the dates are 9-17 July and no airshow is lasting that long.

https://www.acc.af.mil/Home/Aerial-Even ... -schedule/
Legends is on the 9-10 of July possible candidate for the extended F35 length.

I just posted elsewhere myself thinking it was Legends IF they hold it the weekend before RIAT. However, is Legends 2022 date confirmed?

Also, would they use a UK based USAF F35 to save bringing over aircraft? I think they did that for the F16 in 2019 when they used a European based aircraft.

Does anyone know when the 2019 2020 accounts will be out given its 2022 on Saturday.

Tried contacting the communication dept Richard Aquarti but they said longer with the company. My elderly father sent a significant donation, I'm keen to know where it ended up being spent given Covid.

I know someone had the company number could they forward it here. tia

The company number is 02190393.

Last published accounts were 30/9/20.

Guess some were due September 21 but presumably COVID has caused a delay or pause?

I suspect you may be misreading what’s already been published.

The full accounts for the year March 2019 to February 2020 were published in November 2020. In them, RAFCTE stated its intention to move its year end to close in September. Therefore, its next full report was for a shortened period, March 2020 to September 2020, which was published on the 1st July 2021. Consequently, I’d expect the next full report, covering October 2020 to September 2021, to be published around July 2022.

However, RAFCTE is the company which operates events that generate a donation to give to The Royal Air Force Charitable Trust (Registered Charity No: 1176054). It’s most likely that your father gave his donation to the charity, not the company. The annual report for that organisation is published on the Charities Commission web site, not Companies House. Nonetheless, it has the same reporting schedule as the company’s full reports so you can already read its reports up until September 2020.

Usually a very good display :thumb:

I notice the announcements don't start until Feb, which if I remember is later than usual...I hope it doesn't mean less turning up, but I wouldn't be surprised still in a pandemic :'(

all looking good so far. i do wish we would get some confirmation from the air tattoo though. February is quickly disappearing with no updates yet. I've learned not to take too much notice of these "self confirmed" notices . they don't always come to anything.

Not sure someone has spotted the largest military conflict since WW2 is going on next to Ukraine ? Naive isn't the word. Unless this goes away quickly you can forget RIAT. The planning time would not allow it to take place.

How was RIAT affected during past conflicts like the Gulf War, Bosnian War, Afghan/Iraq after 9/11 in terms of NATO countires sending assets?
