Yup, seems a big price rise.
Grandstand seats (not even on sale yet) are £25 extra for the premium seats (top row and isles) where-as it used to only be £5 extra.

It all comes down to supply and demand. It's only worth what people are prepared to pay for it. If everyone said "no that's too expensive" and didn't buy it I'm sure the prices would come down but if it all sells out again (which it will) they'll feel the price hike was justified and continue to charge it/increase it.

as park and view seems to get more popular every year as i can see, its inevitable the price for this event would rise regardless.
but to be fair (imo), 25 quid to see every airframe at the event fly is money well spent

Very presumptuous of them to expect F-16 displays(plural!). I'd have thought the Belgian was fairly good odds, but not guaranteed. Whilst the Greek, Turkish and Polish vipers haven't exactly been itching to come over of late.. A debut for Romania would be good.
Also, shouldn't that be good enough to start the 2024 thread?

Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere but is it just the advanced park and view tickets that have been sold out and more will be released on a week by week basis ?

You will only get Park & View tickets now if you turn up early on the day. They reserve a batch for each day and usually, you can get one.

You can buy on the day on Monday. Happens every year since return from Covid. Monday tickets sell out quick, but as long as you are there early Monday morning you can buy a ticket at the gate.

You can definitely buy at the gate as I had to do this a few years ago and to be honest I have never seen anyone turned away cause its too busy and I've never heard anyone say they couldn't get in by paying at the gate.
