The 18.00 - 19.00 arrival time on Friday is just a rumour that's going around, the departure time on Monday(or Tuesday) is only known by the USAF and RIAT operations.

If there taking off east to west, Then me and my uncles tend to prefer the west end, We usually arrive about 8:30 and the first usually departs about 9am. It's easier going than the packed East end although theres no burger van theres toilets though. From the west end you get a few planes taxi past and alot of the planes keep it nice and low for interesting and impressive take offs.

The East end is good if you can get to the fence as it's a fair bit bussier than the west end and you get to feel the power as planes start there take off run.

Hope this helps

Hi all

Think we should all stop discussing what possible time, what possible callsign and what possible routing before the Americans decide to make a decision that will annoy a lot of people and turn round and cancel her.

Many thanks

Well they must have turned on their ECM, because I cannot get on to UKAR and I swear there was a piece about the B-2 on Riats Facebook page, which seems to have vanished from my radar....

At least no one knows where it will be based for the whole weekend!

The USAF have now warned that if the arrival/separture times are made public it will cancel. So please refrain from discussing it on the board.

Gummy,
If you check the RIAT website it clearly states tickets are not available at the gate. They do this to minimize the time to get in and reduce the queing time. However on the website you can buy an e-ticket online.
