Fly them in on the 2nd or 3rd July, as they have done in the past. If they are actually going to send some jets?

Yes, look at the F-15's hourly operating cost, and assume you're looking at 3 hours per aircraft, and three aircraft (two to attend the show and a spare)

http://forum.keypublishing.com/showthre ... t-per-hour

In 2008 that was $17,000 per hour, so even assuming the physical cost hasn't increased, inflation would make that $19,750 per hour.

$19,750 x 3 hours = $53,850

$53,850 x 3 aircraft = $161,559

So that's $161,559 for three aircraft, not including aircrew, ground crew, accomodation or anything else that the USAFE would usually pay for.

I believe the Vulcan is coming so there will be no need for any further aircraft, modern or vintage

Seriously though - great line-up both on static and flying.

Could this possibly mean the 29 is coming to steal the show or more likely they changed their mind about displaying it :(
