The first two are Turkish licence build Mangustas and PC-9s, respectively :)

A good start! Cheers Paul :)

The TAI T129 is a rather nice start!

Hmm, I'm not too sure TAI will be happy to hear their pride and joy described as a "licence build PC-9".......

Would rip-off be closer to the mark? Certainly not a unique design :P

This might sound like a stupid question. I've got the chance to go in on a trade day. This would be my first ever visit to Farnborough so I don't know what to expect from the show. I'm guessing there will be less people / crowds on a trade day but how does the show / static normally compare to a public day? I see the flying display is longer on the public days so are all aircraft that attend likely to stick around? Any info appreciated.

I used to do the trade days every year when I used to work for Serco/RAF Air Command. Yeah they will be quieter in terms of air movements but static should be better than the weekend as stuff tends to leave before Saturday.

Plus with less people you'll get better static shots plus the chance to walk through the trade stalls with the swagger that your there to buy a couple of billion dollars worth of hardware even if your there for the free coffee!!
