It's always been open to the public on trade days as anyone can buy a trade day ticket in advance.welshandy wrote: ↑Sun Dec 05, 2021 12:41 pmHorndean Post is now reporting the Show will be open to the public?

Re: Farnborough confirmed for July 2022(Trade only)
I've just ordered two trade passes (£45 each) off the show website.
These have been approved and should be e-mailed out a couple of weeks before the event.

If things continue to escalate under the direction of the 'Mad Midget' then FIA may not have any choice about how many Russian military aircraft are NOT invited!

Farnborough have not been permitted to host military flying displays from Russia for many years (due to the annexing of Crimea and other such actions). However, the Russians were able to take exhibition space and occasionally display civilian products. Even without the suspension it would be hard to see how the Russians would ever have been able to exhibit at Farnborough considering all the sanctions against travel, imports and business now in place.

Re: Farnborough confirmed for July 2022(Trade only)
Observers witnessed the delivery of three wrapped Korean T-50 or F-50 aircraft to Stansted this morning on an Asiana 747 cargo. Apparently the unloading crew said that they were for Farnborough and that there may be more on the way. They were then moved by truck, but it wasn't clear where to. Engines were in crates so one must assume that they plan to fly at some point rather than be static display aircraft. I have seen a photo but unfortunately don't have permission to upload it.

I saw all three Green wrapped bodies travelling south on the M11 around 11am.

Re: Farnborough confirmed for July 2022(Trade only)
Looks like the Flying element of the show has been scaled back further this year, maybe tougher rules due to the ever encroaching hosing going up all around the immediate area of the airfield.
There are quite a few items now going live on the FIA website including the Black Eagles performing a Flypast every day.
Reds are listed as performing a flypast on Monday and Friday. A RAF P-8 is also listed as performing flypasts on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.

Re: Farnborough confirmed for July 2022(Trade only)
Hi all. Having downloaded my RIAT tickets I decided to have a look at trying to download my trade pass for Farnborough. Found an e-mail from them at time of confirming I was registered to attend that said notifications (e-passes) would be sent out 14 days prior to the show so expecting a notification in the next few days. However, whilst "rooting" through the official site I did find a list of some of the aircraft attending the show (including some times for flying participants). A large "chunk" of the listing is for items in the "air display" to be held on Friday 22nd July. There are flypast during the trade days all of which show 230 p.m. so I suspect that this is the start time for the flying element of the show. Anyway, anyone interested in what may be attending might like to type the following into their browser:-

Plenty of items from Turkey. Wondering if there will also be a DoD selection as well? I suspect that the Kuwait Typhoon from RIAT will also be an exhibit - would be nice if one of the Qatar ones from Warton was also to attend. Dreams.........

Re: Farnborough confirmed for July 2022(Trade only)
looks like the Reds and Black Eagles will be doing a flypast everyday. Doubt they will be based at Farnborough due to the amount of time it would take them to depart and land.
Not sure how accurate this is but worth a look for what is happening each day
