Mike,
Thanks. That's very useful. Can you tell us where you parked and viewed from please?

It’s not what you look at that matters. It’s what you see.

There is a layby right out side the museum you can just walk through the check points
The layby is full but if you can get parked you can walk through by the museum
The Museum is free today and selling Ice creams etc and we'll worth a visit
You can see the CH-47F and part of the Apache from the museum

Forgot to mention the CH-47F was readable 8132 on the rear engine tower
Also a Big Jet TV van was on the inside so will doubtless be streaming ( or steaming in this heat)

Planning to visit tomorrow. Anyone know if there are any 'real' aircraft on display inside any of the exhibition halls?

I can't recall seeing any in the past, but we'll both find out tomorrow!Kevin Brewer wrote: ↑Thu Jul 21, 2022 8:14 amPlanning to visit tomorrow. Anyone know if there are any 'real' aircraft on display inside any of the exhibition halls?

Hopefully the exhibitors won't all have b*ggered off home and are still manning their stands...
Re: Farnborough 17/07/2022
From my photos the CH-47F is 13-08132 and the AH-64D is 08-07049 both from the cockpit stencils.

Does anyone know the serial for the German Armed Forces H145M in the Airbus area, please?
Re: Farnborough 17/07/2022
It was a plastic mock up.
