Been posted on UKAR that a Polikarpov I-16 and an Me-262 have arrived today, can anyone confirm as there is no official list posted yet.

yes that great thread of "I know whats due but wont tell you...". I'll be going one day over the weekend, not sure which yet

turns out the 262 was all a huge wind up by some of the individuals who claim to be in the know, when i questioned why no list was posted they had a rant at me not appreciating duxford's work, this is one of the reasons a list is good these days so imature people like them can't lead along someone, who may then spend money to go to show on the false info they supplied, this type of thing makes me severely

yes I did read that..someone posted ."why dont you go along and see whats there?" A better question would be "why dont you stop pretending to know whats there, when really you dont know "

I remember last year or the year before they were trying to get the P-38 Glacier Girl flown over for the show, but it never made it.
Anyone got any more updates on this aircraft and its current status.
I dont think it is scheduled to appear for the 2010 legends, but I was just wondering if a future appearance is on the backburner?

I agree there, I had the misfortune of reading that thread as well, but I guess some people have nothing better to do..

Hi Allan

Grange road will be closed from 06.00 - 20.00 by cambridge council for CARS. I was in the very friendly farmers field today with some other spotters
we all got very RED. was fortunate to see the Skyraider do a practice display for 3 mins plus some spitfires to mention a few.

unfortunatly cant go to either days, other family events, hope all that are going have a great day, slap on plenty of cream

What a great show legends was The Polikarpov I-16 is a beast The balbo was just simply stunning. Well done everyone involved.
