I remember last year or the year before they were trying to get the P-38 Glacier Girl flown over for the show, but it never made it.
Anyone got any more updates on this aircraft and its current status.
I dont think it is scheduled to appear for the 2010 legends, but I was just wondering if a future appearance is on the backburner?

No wonder some of those claiming to be "in the know" were lying about the aircraft due :lol: Not one of Legends stronger lineup's

I'll be there on Saturday with my other half 'Big Windy'. Looking forward to seeing the I-16 and getting even more sunburned by the looks of things. :)

I agree there, I had the misfortune of reading that thread as well, but I guess some people have nothing better to do.. :S

Hi Allan

Grange road will be closed from 06.00 - 20.00 by cambridge council for CARS. I was in the very friendly farmers field today with some other spotters
we all got very RED. was fortunate to see the Skyraider do a practice display for 3 mins :thumbs: plus some spitfires to mention a few.

unfortunatly cant go to either days, other family events, hope all that are going have a great day, slap on plenty of cream :D :D

What a great show legends was :thumb: The Polikarpov I-16 is a beast :cool: The balbo was just simply stunning. Well done everyone involved.
