Is anyone at or near Duxford that could let us know when the planes take off? :D that would be seriously appreciated!

Slightly lost count , think it was either 21 or 20 that are enroute via South end

Echo 12 didn't make it off the deck so Echo 11 is tail end Charlie

Still on 123.675 at 16:35

They were well in the distance where I saw them(I had expected them to turn towards me, but they made a wider turn) but epic to have seen them. Thanks for all the updates!! I'm guessing they will formate on the journey to Colchester, very strung out as they left Duxford,

BBC and Sky coverage was shockingly poor, the BBC camera operator seemed to be more interested in the Oak tree rather than the para drop, Sky camera operator had their camera poked in the face of the of one of the Veterans for an uncomfortable length of time. Both channels are so determined to talk over whats happening more often than not talking utter sh**e.

Saw them pass over from near the Borley Rectory with my dad. Absolutely phenomenal sight, especially when mentally multiplying the aircraft to what it would have been like 75 years ago.

Does anyone happen to know which Daks flew in the end? I saw on the BBC news that Flabob Express and the Norwegian one are still sitting at Duxford.

Hords at Beachy Head, worth the wait as they came across just after 1700 in a well strung out formation which made photographs easier.
Well done to all involved.

For the record, 21 Daks departed Duxford, around 16:00L

2 remained on the ground.

Mobile reception was pretty poor, unless you found wifi in a hangar.

Still a great day, though. :thumb:

Slightly 'off topic' - although they were part of the fly-past - but does anyone have serials for the Silver C45 and two Texans (one in Portuguese markings) that took part yesterday, please?
