is There any Possibility That Yeovilton Could Get the Hornets On Static just like Air-power in Austria has Done as a Static F-18 is Better than no F-18 at all, Just Hoping the Hornet isn't a Total Loss.

I believe the Sea Vixen was taxiing under it's own power yesterday and the Pilot is beginning his work up soon.

Yeovilton Airday have finally confirmed on their FB page what we all knew, the Swiss F-18 is Canx.

They also confirmed that things were looking hopeful on the Sea Vixen with flight tests scheduled for Friday.

Finally! I wonder how many tickets they have sold in the that time because they have delayed the 'official' cancellation?......or am I just being cynical?.... :whistle: :whistle:

Cynical Lewis. Confirmation only received yesterday with the delay down to them establishing if they could support the show in other ways (Zeltweg - static Hornet, Radom - Pat Suisse).

From Flightline UK on facebook;
''Some further changes to Yeovilton - Swordfish W5856 will be on static display and the RAF King Air has cancelled''......

Lets hope that's the last of the cancellations ...... :roll:

Anyone Know what Will Be Flying on Tuesday for the Press Preview.
