Appears to be a CM-175 Zephyr, here's hoping the Alize and Paris make the trip as well. :thumb:

Would be great to see the KDC-10 there, but surely it will cancel before it gets to show time?

Why would it cancel? It's already confirmed as static. :S :S

Taken from the RNAS Yeovilton enthusiasts group - Facebook page posted yesterday
For those in the area, this coming Tuesday is media day for this year Yeovilton Air Day.
We believe there will be a small air display from around midday featuring Yeovilton based aircraft, weather permitting.
Although the local weather forecast isn't great.

Because it has a history of cancelling on airshows in recent years. Just because an aircraft is confirmed, it doesn't mean that it won't cancel again in future. Operational deployments and needs surpass the need to show the aircraft to the public.

No mention of Yeovilton on the list of displays on the BBMF web site. According to the Yeovilton site there will be two Spitfires and the Dakota displaying. Which is right?

Really looking forward to this. Have booked seats for the Lynx enclosure, has anyone been in here and is it any good for photography?
Cheers

I was in the Lynx enclosure lat year - I booked early and had a good seat a couple of rows back on the end of the row. It was pretty good for photography, but you'll get all the big lenses swinging around all over the place, that's just part of it all though, nothing to get up tight about and it really only affects runway shots. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

This year I'm going in the Swordfish enclosure to see what it's like.
