Is there anything official regards this supposed USN deployment, seems it’s nothing but rumours at the moment?

34F will not be there this year. Hope some other French planes/helicopters can appear. Great show.

Another addition to the static park:

CP-140 Aurora - Royal Canadian Air Force

We are delighted to welcome back the Royal Canadian Air Force for the second year running, this time with a rare appearance by a CP-140 Aurora for our static display. The Lockheed CP-140 Aurora is a multi-mission aircraft based on the P-3 Orion. While a maritime patroller at heart, the Aurora has a wealth of further capabilities beneath the surface. A powerful C4ISR (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance) platform, it can also be deployed on counter-narcotics and disaster relief taskings, with a mission endurance of some 12 hours. No other air arm flies this type besides the Royal Canadian Air Force and this example belongs to 407 Squadron based at CFB Comox.

You will enjoy it. A good opportunity to see quite a lot of Navy stuff and the static is nicely laid out for photography and the personnel are very accommodating. I've been 2 or 3 times and its a very enjoyable day. There is also quite a spectacular finale.

All the best

Italian P-72 is a really nice addition

It already looks like a cracking show with Greek T-6 , Spanish Armada Harriers , Canadian P-3 plus US Navy Hornets and a Belgium Alouette.

Just need to hope the barriers are placed better this year, and not hugging the aircraft themselves.

To be honest, I'm not that hopeful :( :(

Always seem to be so many 'spare' barriers tucked away in the area behind the hangars that could be used to give the aircraft a bit more room.

Suppose it's a balancing act between the those on a family day out to let the children get close to the aircraft, and the needs of the relatively 'few' photographers on the day.

I guess it's better PR to cater for the families :S :S

I've been told the barrier situation will be better this year, not cones and ropes like RIAT but better than previous years

Does anyone know if the Lithuanian Mi-8 will fly the same route (and do a tankstop at EDLV) as last year?
I missed it that time :(
