Merlin Cafe RNAS Culdrose
An announcement has been made by Fleet Air Arm Trading that the Merlin cafe and the station coach tours at Culdrose have ceased to trade and that the reason is none other than they have had trading difficulties during these hard times. The business has been run by the trading company that are based at RNAS Yeovilton. They have thanked the staff and customers for their past support.

Thank you Kylegreetkernow, not a problem, a Statement can be sent in Capitals, I only look at Predannack every month because very little occurs in the Area and its just not possible to look at everything all the time, so please dont get steamed up. I came by the information only one hour ago and thought that those interested would like to know and I am sure that a second report has brought it to Fighter Control members attention who may not have seen the earlier post you refer to
Re: MERLIN CAFE RNAS CULDROSE
Rule 9 :- Posts should never be made entirely with capital letters (neither should topic titles) - this is classed as shouting and is rude, posts should not be made-up entirely of lower-case letters either. Each sentence and thread-title should also start with a capital letter.aircharter wrote:Thank you Kylegreetkernow, not a problem, a Statement can be sent in Capitals

Re: MERLIN CAFE RNAS CULDROSE
Not, as Kyle correctly points out, according to the forum rules. Rule 9 to be precise, which states capitals are shouting. Still perhaps the rules were one of those things you didn't have time to read.aircharter wrote:a Statement can be sent in Capitals

Re: Merlin Cafe RNAS Culdrose
Question then. Who owns the land? MOD? Would it not be possible to lease a pitch to a catering van? Dot some picnic tables about and jobs a good un!! Ice cream van in the summer and everyones happy. Or is it not as simple as that??Seaking93 wrote:The fact's are that the cafe has been running at a loss, FAAM is a charity, it can no longer sustain those losses, the final straw was a large increase in the charges to be leved for the tours in 2014, unstainable so there was no other obtion sad as it is.
Bobt
Toilets I guess now will remain locked to

And the enthusiast trip in on arrival day (for airday)I guess will stop to??
Re: Merlin Cafe RNAS Culdrose
I believe this is done through the CRO with the help of 849 Sqn personnel. I can't see any reason why it should stop.buzzer wrote:And the enthusiast trip in on arrival day (for airday)I guess will stop to??
