What on earth was that late jet!!

Hi all,
Heavy jet just OTT here at 2219L (2119Z) - dir'n SW-NE (cloud 7 Sc so not able to observe what it was) - it is very unusual indeed at this time of night!!
It was low, estimated at around 1000ft or so. Anyone any idea what it was, or where it came from, or going to??!! Many thanks --Paul
