In reply to people talking about wash out/car parking issues. I live on the base and we have had to clear all of our cars from the station car parks so I think they are planning on parking within the station maybe as an overflow nothing has been confirmed with us yet.

The rain has been nowhere near as prolonged, heavy and persistent as with the floods of 2007 or when RIAT was cancelled in 2008.

There were floods everywhere then: The Warks Avon is at the North end of the village I live in and it hasn't even started coming up yet.

Weather looking better for tomorrow

I'm already excited!

What time are people arriving?

I'm getting there before 7, I experienced the M54 three years ago and I've not been since!!
With regard to getting at the front of the crowd line, I would say its not that important as not much uses the runway..
Good luck to everyone going tomorrow

Just to give an update on what's happening, I'm in a holding car park, tickets scanned, and they will fast track us in at 8.30. No traffic on the M54......yet...

There is alot of aircraft flying in to display, with a fair few from Shawbury. Vulcan did have engine issues and this morning they will check again. Paperwork still needs to be signed off.

Rather than just keep posting that it didn't have engine issues, why don't you tell us what is wrong with her Alan ??

Hi John - I can't help on the static airframe but:
"Gunship 1" was ZJ184
"Gunship 2" was ZJ205

Cheers

Steven.
