Hi. I don't have any frequency lists but I've attended Southport for last few years and really good show and especially for photography. Usually do some unusual formations too.

One of the special formations this year is the Blades with the Tucano as its the last display for that type... shame as I thought the Tucano was a great aircraft, not too sure on the Texan, seems okay at RIAT, but didn't seem quite so nice on the prop noise!

I'm done for the airshow season this year, shame as id like to have made it there this year..

Hi
The BPL Twr frequency 118.4 is no longer used as the Twr freq. 119.95 is used for Twr as well as the Approach.
118.4 may still be used when required perhaps during airshow but not heard in use for sometime.
I recall for a couple of years or so participants were "funelled" via Warton overhead with Warton ATC open with their VHF frequencies active but this is no longer the case.
Any heli military stuff tends to go into Woodvale.

cheers

Viggen is the twin seat in distinctive "splinter " green/yellow/black/grey camo. Makes a nice image especially when the sun's on it...a bit faded but photogenic...

Anyone going today or tomorrow be advised the beach is really muddy and wet. Worth wearing boots. Great weather today for display
