Some stunning footage there! As much as I love a Typhoon full reheat or performance takeoff, there is something a bit special about a Tonka takeoff. Seeing it straining at the leash on dry thrust and the smell, sound and even feel of it is incredible. There was a double takeoff last week from 05 which my car alarm took offence to. Ace!

The Tonka became my favourite fast jet when I saw the German Pair do this at Lossie a few years back. Incredible sound!
I remember hearing the car alarms after this one went off ... LOL

Nowhere near as good as yours, but I got footage of a Tonka four-ship going up at Lossie on Wednesday.
All four building up together then opening up to full power was incredible - though unfortunately I had forgotten to put a bit of weight on my tripod so it went flying as the lead built up to lighting the burners. I got the takeoff, but only by holding the camera and tripod in one hand as I was blown about by the Tonkas!
I've seen them set off car alarms several times now, so if I end up parked anywhere nearby I always remember to unlock the car :-)

wow, nice stuff. The 4k is unreal quality.
Re: JW16-1 Some 4K action from RAF Lossiemouth
The 4K is taken by Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ1000 camera.
It has a 25-400mm built in lens, a large 1 inch sensor, external mic input. When digital assist is turned on the focal length for 4K (which is cropped slightly in sensor) is 37mm - 2368 mm 35mm equiv.
It is a very capable piece of kit and takes great photos too.

Had more time to edit the Turkish F16s, so here is the imrpessive taxi down to 05, takeoff, recovery and then recovery later that day showing them deploying their chutes:

The first day that we were there, the 2 US Navy P8s departed within 10 mins of each other. The first in a hail storm and the second in glorious sunshine:
