Thank you, I was stood on the hill in the Mach Loop known as The Spur, park at a small lay-by on the left on the hill climb up from Dinas towards Bwlch car park, cark park only has enough room for a few cars, the climb up from the car can be tricky, especially if you've never done it before.
You'll be probably shooting with a high ISO, as light not always great there.

Many thanks for your help and info... I've been interested in aviation for a very long time... mainly a serial collector... putting pen to paper for the first time at IAT Greenham Common in 1983.
I like visiting the ranges to see the F15s but the Loop I have never done and must get up there in the near future to see this impressive sight for myself.
