Displaying/framing Squadron Prints?
Help please!
I have a few of these and am starting a collection.Any ideas on frame options? They measure 438X292 mm so wont quite fit inside A3.
Ideally something with white border but don't want to spend the earth.
Regards, Jay.

Thanks Mike, will have a look.
Re: Displaying/framing Squadron Prints?
Their A3 frames are the best for Squadron Prints but you'll have to trim the prints slightly to fit (SP are 29.2 x 43.8cm and A3 is 29.7 x 42cm).

I've just seen these being advertised on ebay, not sure how good they are though :- https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/285362430641 ... media=COPY

Thanks Mike, they look ideal. Trouble is I currently have 14 of them as am in the process of collecting all RAF aircraft from Cold War onwards.
Only done fast jets so far so it won't be cheap.

Re: Displaying/framing Squadron Prints?
My main theme for my Squadron Prints Collection is Aircraft I have actually seen but unfortunately have not been able to get a picture/ photograph of, also I have a side theme of an Aircraft/ base/ squadron that has a personal meaning to me......
Re: Displaying/framing Squadron Prints?
Beware framing all your Squadron Prints.
1) they take a huge amount of space, consider one or two frames and rotate the prints every six months or so.
2) the prints can quickly fade or discolour, some signed prints are now worthless due to the affects of light.

Re: Displaying/framing Squadron Prints?
Sorted it in the end by mounting 2x prints vertically stacked in a 50x70 frame.
I have 12x prints, so 6x frames on the wall in a 3 over 3.
All the front line RAF jets from my lifetime thus far.
Lightning
Canberra
Hunter
Buccaneer
Phantom
Jaguar
Harrier GR3
Harrier GR7
Tornado GR1
Tornado F3
Typhoon
F-35
They're on a wall that doesn't get sunlight and finish off my man cave nicely.

What a fantastic and well thought out selection B58Hustler, I like the sound of your Collection Theme, all the RAF Frontline Jets from your lifetime, good idea that. Like mine where it's Aircraft that I have actually seen but been unable to get a picture of as well as a few that mean something to me.
Totally cool and awesome if you ask me..... - Well Done B58Hustler.....

Not sure how the signed prints direct from Squadron Prints are done, but if you’re getting them signed yourself do it in pencil, as UV light doesn’t degrade it over time, after that Blue ink, Black ink degrades very quickly.
