What is going on again? People are throwing some big money at patches again at the moment. Recently a couple of Chinook patches went for £98 and over £100. Which is just funny as Bomber patches release a set of 3 or £36 delivered yesterday
Can't believe how many have bought the Squadron Prints RAF 100 just to sell for huge profit.

I know that things are worth what someone will pay but it is mad. An Aussie E-7 RIAT patch went for £70 on ebay last week but are back in stock with Bomber patches for $16.95.
Where are the Chinook patch sets for sale as can't see them on BP website?

Apparently the 3 set has asked to be removed by the RAF so it's no longer on sale.

The RAF100 Flypast patch set that is currently listed on eBay, is at £255 with five days to go. Now that is still quite reasonable if you go by cost per patch, which works out at under £13.50, however you'd have to be naive to believe that it's going to stay at that price. I reckon that set will sell for over £400. Some people have more money than sense.
The Typhoon '100' Spearhead alone sold for £96 last week.
I don't care how much somebody offers me, I will never sell my set. It's RAF heritage now, and I am proud to own a piece of it.

£510???!?!?!
Almost £27 a patch. That's mental. But I guess if someone is willing to pay!

They will only become more expensive. Give it four or five years and I reckon a set will sell for three or four times that amount.
From what I can gather, patches don't usually increase in value by anything significant until they become 'vintage.' This set will be one of the rare exceptions, considering the heritage involved.

Off topic slightly, but out of curiosity why do the 492nd/ 493rd FS challenge coins get listed on EBay for so much money?? Some are listed for £100+ ? I understand it’s only what people are willing to pay but just interested in why these x2 squadrons are so saught after?
