Trying to identify badge

Hi, hope it's ok to post this here ..
My Dad passed away last year and while sorting through his stuff I came across a beret with a badge and I wondered if anyone out there might shed some light on the badge and if it has any significance. Dad was in the Fleet Air Arm 1945-48 and also the ATC during and post war. In the FAA he was stationed at Milltown, Scotland and was with 767 Squadron.
Thanks for any information.

My condolences on your loss.

A web search led me to think

Royal Air Force beret badge, Officers, Kings Crown

Hello,

It's an RAF Officers Kings crown badge. So presume your dads time in the ATC?

Robin :)

ok, thanks very much for the replies. I believe he did actually run the local ATC after he finished his FAA service, so that makes sense.
