RNAS Yeovilton air day 1965 souvenir programme, Blue Angels

Post by Paul1983 » Sat Jun 07, 2025 6:20 pm

I have a habbit of picking up anything aviation related that takes my interest, Most of it is quite modern but I do have these two older pieces I thought were worth sharing! The first is a Blue angels signed souvenir air day program, and the second is a sealed Aircrew First aid kit. Ps. I was not born when this show went ahead, But I thought it was a interesting item and bought it.

Nice find. This was may first airshow, I taken by my parents and I can't remember a thing as I was one!

A trip down memory lane for me Paul. The shot of a Sea Vixen in a similar profile was the eye-catcher in the recruiting ad in Motor Sport magazine that lead me to flight in a Sea venom during my posting to RNAS Heron in the October of ‘65.

Thank you
