Couldn't have put it any better Droptank, for what could've and should've been a great show turned out to be a massive missed opportunity. I said all along that DBH had a conflict of interests when tasked with organising the show, and in no way was there going to be any thing in the participation list that would steal any limelight from RIAT.
Home of the Reds and they couldn't even attract one other National display team, yet not even 250 miles away they were enjoying no less than 7 and countless fast jet solo teams.

For those in their mid 40's, what ever happened to the RAF recruitment road show that toured the country in the late 70s early 80s. They used to have a Canberra nose section and a full scale Hawk mock up amongst others, what happened to these?
