I was looking at the Google Earth image of the former RAF Lyneham and see that the runways are still shown as in use, although one is alongside an array of solar panels! There is also an MoD presence, so what is the former base now used for?

The Army have changed the place forever I'm sure in time the runways will go.....very sad i spent 7 happy years there..

I'm pretty sure that Westland Scout XV141 is still displayed in the museum. It seems that there's a former Qatar Police Lynx displayed in the vicinity too.
