Hi all
My Friends Dad was at a Sector Meeting for the ATC at Lyneham last week and all the top brass were at this meeting. My Friends Dad got talking to an officer there and he said Lyneham is still being used for Flying as when Brize has no parking room the herc's will fly in to Lyneham wait for a while then takeoff and Land at Brize. Other Aircraft will hold on the ground at Lyneham to wait for free space at Brize like the C-17's and VC10's.
This was an obvious Problem that was going to occur in my eyes.
