A Busy Day at Lyneham

Post by chazzer » Fri Apr 13, 2012 1:27 pm

Thursday at Lyneham was fairly busy.
2 Hercules low level about 10.oclock then around 12.oclock a BAe Strikemaster using all the runway approaches several times befor returning to Kemble.Note the wheels did not touch the tarmac. The Aircraft was painted in desert camo with grey undersides.
2 hours later and 2xMerlin helicopters landed near the Control Tower and later took off towards Salisbury plain area.
Later on 2 more Merlin Helicopters landed near the tower and again took off very low towards Brize area.
Friday and the Strikemaster was back again but only a couple of approaches to runway 08?.
