Re: Yeovilton 27 Mar 19
Hello Andy,
My log what was seen between roughly 13:00 and 15:00:
Merlin HC.4 /I 845NAS green c/s code misread
Merlin HC.4 ZJ131/P,+1 845NAS grey c/s
Wildcat AH.1 ZZ385,ZZ387,ZZ388,ZZ389,ZZ395,ZZ510 Army
Wildcat AH.1 ZZ520 Army
Wildcat HMA.2 ZZ377,ZZ517,ZZ519,ZZ531,ZZ534 Navy
Wildcat AH.1 ZZ511 Army on lowloader on transport from Brize Norton after deployment to Oman
Tutor T.1 G-BYVK,G-BYWM,G-BYXK,G-BYXS 727NAS
Lynx Mk.88A 83+02 MFG GNY4694 via SBS to EGWU conf
Please note that your HC.4 coded S should be ZJ134. The second unread grey one we noted, was outside the hangar without rotors with a rack next to it being worked upon. Was that the same one as your "S"?
"I" was a misread. It was a complete HC.4 still in green colors outside the hangar and could be seen from the museum.
thanks!
Jeroen

Hi guys, a quick update, the Merlin HC.3 in green outside the hangars that could be seen from the museum steps was ZJ135/T,
hope it helps,
Rob

Re: Yeovilton 27 Mar 19
Jeroen/Rob - Many thanks for the follow up and apologies for the typo. The Merlin ZJ134/S was doing handling checks at 1030hrs on my arrival over the 22 threshold and then returned to dispersal. I'm afraid I lost track of it subsequently as I spent the rest of day down at the 26 end. Equally I missed ZJ135/T. Oops!
Hope this helps.
