Re: Req yeovilton and Yeovil 11/4/22
Three possibilities...
1) If it was not fully built (no engines, rotors, tail blades) then brand new, so will have to wait till it emerges from the paint shop.
2) If it was complete, then the Polish ZR285 carries a large black serial on the tail boom - you should have been able to see that?
3) Norwegian ZZ100 hasn't been seen much, hasn't flown for ages AFAIK, and was last noted in primer with small white serial on the rear fuselage. If it wasn't ZR285, then my guess is this one.
There was a primer Merlin engine running on the ramp between 5pm and 6pm this evening, but it didn't fly and I couldn't see enough of it to read off from the bedroom window.

Many thanks for your reply. I walked down the footpath and it was nose on so couldn’t see a reg on it at all. The only thing I did note it had some sort of squareish boxes on the tail. (don’t no if that’s what they all have) all rotors were on

ZZ100 Has a lumpy black nose with refuelling probe, 5 windows on the port side and no radar dome under the forward fuselage. https://s3.eu-west-2.amazonaws.com/abpi ... -large.jpg
ZR285 Has a smooth primer yellow nose, 2 windows on the port side and a grey radome under the forward fuselage. https://navyclippings.nl/index.php/2021 ... irst-time/
It'll (99% certainly) have been one of the above, so have a google and see which one best matches what you saw. Plenty of pictures of both online.

Looking at pictures online neither has the markings I see, so don’t think it is either of those ones
