This Merlin in a bag was seen on the M3 near Farnborough this afternoon about 4pm. Assume this is one of ZR342 or ZR347 probably heading to Stansted? Any ideas.

The 0265 serial number would have been added when the aircraft was first painted, it was then blacked out and the UK military serial number added (ZZ102) for test flying at Westland.
The 0265 number was used as the Flight ID for this particular testing.
I did not see the aircraft land on Saturday so am not able to say if the 0265 serial was uncovered for this particular flight.

Re ZZ102 Saw outside Monday and was still marked as ZZ102 the Norwegian serial was still covered up with tape.

Also - forgot to post it last week, but ZR288 was out on the ramp last Thursday (10th Nov) - fully painted in the same 3 tone grey scheme as ZR286 and looked ready for flight. Polish serial covered in 4 individual bits of black tape, (round, flat bottom, round, square).

Yeovilton - 1100L 22-11-2022 If you are thinking about going to the FAA Church to take pictures, be advised Bineham Lane is flooded just after the runway threshold, as is the road coming from the base that passes the eastern threshold. Not sure how deep the flooding is, but didn't fancy it.
