You might want to edit the heading with the right year :)

I am going to swing by STN bank holiday Monday morning to see if I can open my military account for 2022 by hopefully spotting something apart from holiday jets.

I've just had a text to say that USAF C-32B 02-4452 ( one of the secret squirrel white ones ) should in at 08-00 and out again at 10:00. Hope that helps.

02-4452 (BANGA71) is currently over south east Ireland so should arrive at STN around 07.30Z

Yes it was great to see one for real as they are a rare bird. I was worried it was going to cry off last minute as a KC135 departed from the theoretically closed Mildenhall just as the 32B approached the UK and it can refuel air to air. It should be leaving STN shortly for Italy.

Re the vanilla C-32b. Apparently there is a chance that they might be back again later this month.

There is an Il-76 due at Stansted tonight, possibly for an overnight stop.

Is it military or civil?

As predicted the rare C-32b came back to Stansted today for a night stop. Although I have not been to see it myself I understand that its 02-4452 again and should be departing 10am'ish Sunday to cross the pond.
