Atlas hangar storm damage

Post by benno » Fri Feb 18, 2022 1:23 pm

I've just seen this on Twitter. The roof of the Atlas hangar being torn off by the storm.

Interesting to see the doors open in such high winds. If that's not the result of storm damage as well, is there any point in looking out the insurance policy for the roof and resulting aircraft damage? :'(

FOD everywhere then ... so probably no flying until they have cleared it all up and made the place safe. Now ... was it a sensible decision to base all your transport aircraft in one place?
