Any person know why brize Norton is notamed as closed today sat 6th August.

Runway repairs maybe after it started to melt a couple of weeks ago?

Notam also covers next three days, times are UTC.

Notams also show further daytime closures 10/8 and 16/8. Overnight closures 19-21/8 and 2-3/9 state runway closed due wip.

RRR9911 (Voyager) is recovering to Prestwick today. Thought he was taking a strange track.

The daily closures were not for runway repairs. Only the Notams covering the 16th 1000Z to 1400Z and the ones overnight on the 19th and 20th Aug aswell as the 2nd and 3rd Sept are for runway work
