Post by slogen51 » Sat Oct 02, 2021 6:46 am

Her Royal Highness, The Princess Royal attended the reformation parade of Number 30 Squadron RAF held at RAF Brize Norton, on the 28th September 2021.

Recently a C-130 Squadron and now reformed around the A400M

Always good to have another Squadron back up and running.

Do 30 Squadron still have their own callsigns? Or will they just have a block set of Ascot callsigns like 70 Squadron?

Other than "Grizzly" in the Falklands, I don't think I've heard/seen an Atlas use anything other than "Ascot" or "Comet".
