Hurricane, Sorry to hear of your loss. The two B-2As that were on the South Coast photo op were 82-1071 Spirit of Mississippi and 89-0168 Spirit of New York. No known firm duration but several weeks has been quoted.

also on this article https://www.itv.com/news/2019-08-30/ame ... to-europe/

the last sentence here:
Even though the B2s are only here for two 2 months, they want Russia to take note
a good sign, although of course things could change, or this could just be plain inaccurate

BBC also reported last night that they will be deployed for the forseeable future.

I missed getting the sunset shots that people got the other day, so selfishly I’m holding out for another one of those!

Depends on how far you can 'forsee' ! :P
Don't get your hopes up too much, it'll probably be about a month.

"only" here for 2 months... The longest they've ever been here before is less than 2 weeks. "Only" is certainly not the word I would use.

The whole article isn't exactly written well, I highly doubt they'll be here for two months. I think you'll fin ITV have their wires crossed.

There's not great sound quality and then there's this! Holy moly. I had high hopes when I clicked on that link. Seems they'll let anyone into a media event these days... :pop:

Great press conference!
"We're here, we will be here for a while, we will be doing things, some of which we will do with the RAF, and then we'll go somewhere else to do stuff".
Who'd have guessed! :P
I suppose with the heightened OPSEC that goes with big black sneaky aeroplanes a press conference is just a formality to show willing really.

Back to some more practical question, about the length of their stay. 2 months would be great, but hard to believe. on scramble.nl a date of 13.09. was given, which would make it 2 weeks. Sounds more likely, but is there any valid information so far?

thanks in advance, regards
Martin

If there any intel anywhere on when they are likely to be flying can anyone confirm? Fairford isn't *that* far, but it's certainly far enough that I probably don't want to be doing it on spec just to draw a blank...

What's happening to them once they get back from a mission? Are they hangared or left outside? (If i was to drive down on Saturday or Sunday whats the likelyhood that i'll see them in other words)
