Not forgetting the flypast for Jersey Airshow on the 11th September. So the B-52 should be up on Wednesday, providing it's serviceable of course.

Cobra Warrior? Don't think so, although happy to be corrected.

I'm confused! Jersey IAD is a one-day show on Thurs 12th Sept & 'a' B-52 flypast isn't showing on the Display Schedule "v1-19". Why go there on the 11th? Anybody know more? :S
As noted above, the Sanicole Evening Airshow on Friday 13th is also scheduled to have 'a' B-52 flypast/s :)
'A' 307th BW. B-52 is scheduled for the static at NATO Air Days Ostrava held on 21st/22nd Sept 2019. :thumb:
Exercise 'Ample Strike' runs from Weds 28th Aug through Tues 17th Sept, so previously we have seen a B-52 depart Fairford for the Ostrava weekend & return to CONUS via Fairford after the Ostrava event. Any factual info' welcome.
Exercise 'Cobra Warrior' participation by a B-52 (as noted in the Press Release) has to be a little joke by sub-contracted DBH Marketing personnel?
I'll have 'first guess'. B-52 flies Thurs 12th/ Friday 13th/ Monday 16th/ Dep' to Ostrava Thurs 19th/ Returns EGVA Tues 24th/ Dep' for US. after extensive rebuild? All subject to being Wrong!

Hi Supra,

I've just seen this quote off a website:
A USAF B-52 will perform a flypast over the static park on Wednesday 11th September 2019 at 2pm.
https://www.military-airshows.co.uk/ven24.htm

Hope this helps :)

Can't do worse than I did - round trip of nearly 300 miles for the one B-2 that I required saw it but it didn't move!

Made a few frames in Kemble ( including 4 Turkmen B717 ) but they were civil and of course there is a Gnat and a Hunter in the AV8 carpark and elsewhere on Kemble you could see XH134 and XH135 Canberra

I think that if you do a 300 mile round trip and see the B-2 that you need then that’s a result! You could have got there and it had been locked away...
At 7pm tonight all three are still parked up outside with the hangar doors closed.
Regards
Mark

Actually I was quite pleased as I knew 1071 landed late at night and could of been in the hangar so to see all three was a good result but I sympathize with people who want to photo them. To be honest it keeps you interested waiting for a notam to appear or something to call up on ground as you don't really know ( unless you are spotting royalty) that nothing is due to move.

It would be but you never know ;) If you could send us 1 over to Sanicole with the B-52, we'd appreciate it! ;)

Does anyone know if they are still sat outside the hangars? Or have they been put to bed for the night?
