Present heading certainly suggests that , should pass to east of Liverpool

Actually , I am not convinced on this one , his tpdr is fixed and he looks to be in mission profile . Not known a returning bird to track this far east

Thought I heard him on 128.700 a Swanwick standby freq, but he was right down in the noise.
Radio broke again?

Yes he has had problems all the way up and kept calling 127.25 to get a different Swanwick frequency. 2-way on 128.7 descending to FL100 12.12L

Does anyone think these u2 flights will launch/recover during riat week between aircraft arriving etc?
My brother was woken up early morning the other year by one and he rushed out of his tent at totterdown in his boxers as he thought he had over slept and the airshow was starting 😂

Yes, I can't remember which year it was but if I remember correctly two launched during the show, I'm sure someone here has all the info' :thumb:
If you can keep your head whilst all around are losing theirs, you have probably completely misread the situation!!

I think my brother said one went out really early probably before the gates even opened for the show, not 100% sure on that though. Just thought with the regular movements whether there will be a chance of seeing some movements from them aswell?

During a visit to Beale in March 2017, I enquired about when the next Busy Relay would be. The answer was in early July - a week before RIAT. I suggested that they postpone it for one week, in order to participate at the show.
That happened. They swopped the jets before and after the show, and put one in static.
Many of you witnessed the departure of one on the Monday.
They hired Tesla cars as mobiles for this deployment - but that's another story!
