Tracking puts them pretty close , did you see both BAVC10 ?
Sadly not ZG. I look out for your U2 posts to get an idea of timings but didn't need one with the B1 - fast and loud ! Guessing Black01 was either drowned out or higher in the cloud base.

What is black 01?
'Black 01' is the callsign of the U-2 which operates usually five days a week from Fairford, it's reported in the UK Heads-up/OTT section and today's mission is here :- viewtopic.php?f=8&t=237596&p=1548147#p1548147
Thanks! Appreciated.

No Not really. Sometimes it's there, sometimes can be found in UK Heads Up, Movements & OTT, it really rather depends who's posting the info'? Either way it promotes investigative reading for the knowledge enrichment that can be gleaned by reading over typing. ;)

If it helps perhaps the 'confusion' has been caused by Black 01 being reported in the Fairford -Spotters Area sub section 3 times this week as Supra suggested but a) only for engine start /taxi clearance not airborne and b) this is not typical and doesn't usually happen . Hope that helps .

Many thanks for the logs and interesting comments. A couple of questions:
(1) Serial number of 'Howler 41' today?
(2) Ditto for 'Black 01' today?
(3) Landing order?
Any help much appreciated, TM74
