Sadly, yes. It was the one that was at Farnborough in 1982.

I'm fence hugging at Beale today (base tours road trip) so reckon I should catch '86 & '336 arriving from FFD 1200 - 1300L with luck.I can report that FFD now edges out Beale in the fencing quality stakes !

Just been reading up on that. It was an Alconbury TR-1 at Farnborough but I didn't realise that they rebuilt some as Twin sticks.

1086 landed Beale 1325L followed by 10336 7 mins later at 1332L . I make that flight times of 12hr 42min & 12hr 25min respectively.

That's a respectable speed. A B77W out of Heathrow to SFO is about 10:30 to 11:00 hours in the air.
