Can anyone confirm he made it down safely? Was having major hydraulic problems and declared an emergency although finally achieved 33 degrees of flap and a certain amount of trim that he said would be "OK for a normal-ish landing"

Sorry, probably being a bit stupid, but how do I get to that thread? I can't find anything and the link doesn't work...

I am a member and logged in? Am I doing something wrong, or is there another permission?

Board index > Worldwide Milair Monitoring > UK Heads Up, Movements & OTT

Or click: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=132360

Pretty sure you need 5 posts to be able to access it.

Ah ha, it's appears a permission thing and I'm new around these parts :-)

I'm keen to know what time it's due in, as I live about 10 mins away and would like to see it if I can, but I can't read the thread...

It was on approach 20 minutes ago, I'd suggest it's landed.

Ah, damn.

How long until they normally fly out again, as there's 2 there now isn't there?

Edited to add - I can now view the linked forum. As correctly predicted by EGVP, 5 posts needed :thumb:

Well done WannabeMK11. It's all part of a learning curve I guess. And by now you'll have discovered more of today's action in 'Headsup'.
Cheers, Roger.
Oh, and to continue roaming around after you've made a post you need to scroll to the bottom of the page, key on 'return to..........' then do the same again to get back to the main menu. Welcome.

Yeah, the 'heads up' page is good, but I fear I may become addicted...

I was going to pop along to Fairford to catch a glimpse of a U2 as I've not seen one for years, but I've just read they hide them away in hangars... So guess I'm not going to see anything?

Thanks for the welcome too!

I was there 06:00 local time to 08:30 and they didn't leave during this period. Haven't seen anything to say they have left since then so I guess they are still there. Possibly tomorrow morning departure?
