More than likely RAF C130s due to the long runway embargoes at Brize today

Dragon 21 now showing near Portland, so just a local. Suspected so given the east bound callsign (21), probably just not updated the box.

You get around Ben! Just a stop over in Iceland before heading over to California was it?
Or are you actually trying to tell me the controller asked the U-2 if it was UK bound on 369.900?
What ever the case, this is now descending through FL600 heading back into Beale. I highly doubt it is actually calling Dragon 21, as I explained above.

Surely the NOTAM is over, assume nothing happened?!

I believe there was nothing in the end, looks like it was just open as a divert alternate for Brize due to the runway embargo's this week.

070 has been at JBER, Alaska in for Exercise Northern Edge this week, probably returning back to Beale?

Ah of course! Now that could explain the callsign, I just assumed it had got airborne from Beale earlier as Lordhintonlewis posted.

Just to tie in yesterday they were doing practising with the Chase cars up and down the runway at Fairford and radio checks also although nothing actually flew in. The U2 that was airborne went into Andrews not Beale so that makes perfect sense for the northern edge as above [GRINNING FACE WITH SMILING EYES]

Routing was Elmendorf to Palmdale, not Andrews.

The WR tail U-2s are mostly seen at Warner-Robins and Palmdale, I'm guessing these could be called the test squadron. Palmdale is also where the deep servicing of the BB fleet is done along with some testing. The jets have only normally gone to Andrews AFB for "promotional" work. Hope that helps.
