In addition to 68-10329 which is in RIAT's static display area, I noticed another U-2 across the runway in one of the hangars at RAF Fairford today. Sadly I was not able to identify this airframe. Could anyone give an update on the current situation with regard to the 99ERS U-2s?

I read it off inside the hangar as BB 076

Hi Raptor22

It was Saturday when I poled it off.. I went straight down to the end of the runway to check off the aircraft over that side of the airfield as the TBM 700 and Avanti were over there and a tad hard to spot.

I noticed whilst down there that the U2 hangar doors were open slightly approx 12 to 15 feet and so offered the bino's up to see the tail of a U2... I couldn't quite read it off so swapped to the pole and saw 076 with four Maltese Crosses and the BB on the fin and a guy to my right was doing the same and came back to confirm he to read it off as 076.
