True but unlike the Prince of Wales that Ship has long sailed
I have to go out but I shall move it later if not already moved

Re: Friday 02-09-2022
Because that's the rules unless there's a specific area set up such as the Bomber section. Live movements go in the Heads Up section. For people interested in live movements that means they are all in one place, if every base movement was in it's own section that's an awful lot of sections to keep an eye on. Your approach works fine for people specifically interested in Fairford but not for everyone else.

Re: Friday 02-09-2022
Thanks for your comments.
However, on the face of it and given that my example Fairford aircraft (eg a U-2) was parked on the airfield and not moving, that guidance would seem to make the "Spotters Area - Serials and Airfield Logs" section almost surplus to requirements!
As a spotter and photographer I find the Spotters Area very useful and would find having to look everything up in the Heads-up section very annoying.
Just my thoughts! Regards, TM74

Re: Friday 02-09-2022
Can It have its own thread then
Re: Friday 02-09-2022
What a mess!
The 1st post in this thread was written by a Mod and then deleted once he realised that U-2 movements should be in the Heads-up/OTT section, it gave details of a U-2 that had departed from Fairford.
I have no idea why he didn't just delete the whole thread!
