Chinook fleet basing locations

I have been casually logging all the Chinooks I've noticed either tracking sites or photos (mine and others) for about a year. Data is mostly from ADSBex and FR24 but also reports and photo's were used especially to identify miscoded aircraft.

Would be nice if others would contribute anything they notice as Chinooks are quite difficult to locate sometimes due to flying low and miscoded transponders

I am fairly sure ZA679 is a 28sqn machine at Benson.

Quite Possibly the same for 683, I see that quite a bit as well.

Yeah just checked FR24 history and they have been at Benson, last time I updated it must of been Odiham based. Will update list above

Heres what I have for withdrawn cabs from the fleet, however their locations might be out of date now:

Last I heard ZD984 was in depth maintenance and the 40th anniversary livery would be removed.

Hi Alex, I can't see ZK560 quoted, it has been seen at Odiham earlier this year.

Thanks both, I have made the above changes. Regarding ZD984 I remember seeing it go to Fleetlands ages ago and nothing since so I suspect it has been withdrawn
