Just heard it land. Wondered what it was as don't hear many prop aircraft at Lakenheath. Is it German Air Force?

Didn't hear it take off as left on 06 over Brandon but heard it when it doubled back and flew over village at FL14.

Re: Exercise Point Blank at Lakenheath
Someone previously mentioned about some Harriers coming in. Was that just speculation or is it actually a possibility?
Re: Exercise Point Blank at Lakenheath
Deployment of USMC AV-8Bs was cancelled.
Re: Exercise Point Blank at Lakenheath
It was also previously mentioned that the AV-8s were not coming.
Cheers

Hi all looking at weather forecast this week for the U.K.
It might be either Thursday or Friday Arrival am guessing?
See how the forecast shapes it but a lot of wet and windy weather due to hit.
Fingers crossed.

Re: Exercise Point Blank at Lakenheath
Most likely to still go ahead as planned for Tuesday 27th. Winds look to be quite strong on Wednesday and Thursday gusting up to 40mph. With the Rafales here with their support group I guess they're working hard ready for tomorrow. Might see some flying today for familiarization, who knows.gulfstream650 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 25, 2018 10:43 pmHi all looking at weather forecast this week for the U.K.
