All five Klu F-35A departed and I haven't seen reports of them coming back

Pretty sure the Alpha Jets are still in the 493rd shelter area

Cheers for the info. Was looking at a weekend trip down. If the f16s are visabkw it would be well worth it

I would be surprised if they are not visible from the western end of the Warren but I have not done the walk myself as I was there when they landed because as someone said I "spend half my life at Lakenheath"

Alpha Jets? - who's are those please. Hadn't heard about them, something else I've missed. I've not seen one for ages.
I'm guessing French as googling says they are the only European operator still using them.

And for all us old timers the history of the two Alpha Jets is:-

C-GLTO formerly 40+69
C-GVTA formerly 40+09 and ZJ648

Both ex German Air Force and one QinetiQ as well.

They should be visible from the farm track at the 06 end if they are using the large ramp near there? SLOGEN51 please keep going to LN and MH as often as you like, your regular reports are a great help to those of us who have travel distances to get there and you have saved many wasted journeys!!

I only noticed four outside from the Warren yesterday, but I was not looking hard as none needed.
They were outside the shelters at N52.40352, E0.56960.
The others might well be in those shelters.

The six that flew on Friday afternoon, some could be seen from the Warren to the left ( east) of the F-35A flow through shelters and also east of the tower so I believe that is Charlie ramp

Without checking, they "should" be in this thread for when they arrived:

Based on the arrival thread mentioned above, the full list of 14 should be as follows:-
87-0350
88-0425
88-0435
88-0460
88-0526
88-0532
89-2016
89-2044
89-2068
89-2096
89-2137
90-0772
90-0773
and
90-0800

Hope this helps
Alan

As always, appreciate the helpful threads and location intel already posted. Am going up tomorrow so wanted to check if anyone thought there were posibilities for seeing parked AV F-16s from along the Brandon Road (opposite Stone Curlew field) or from the perimeter fence at the 06 end (approx. 52.402223, 0.534784)? Any thoughts grateully received.
