First F-35 for Lakenheath Identfied?
Re: First F-35 for Lakenheath Identfied?
I'll be working from home as usual that day, but listening in!
Re: First F-35 for Lakenheath Identfied?
Big Jets TV and Airshow World will no doubt be in attendance?
Re: First F-35 for Lakenheath Identfied?
I think Jerry (Big Jet TV) already said that he's not really bothered about seeing them just land when they first arrive. He said he was more interested in catching them when they start doing their sorties.

I thought as a "journalist" he was "employed" to provide a service for others not just what he wants to do?
Re: First F-35 for Lakenheath Identfied?
They might arrive after dark though, not great TV for him.
Re: First F-35 for Lakenheath Identfied?
Yeah must catch them as soon as they arrive, because they might retire them in 25 years!
Cheers

Seen a photo on Instagram today of 19-5493, and it is marked as the 493 FS ‘Boss Bird’ with a Grim Reaper motif similar the the Statue of Liberty on the 495 FS boss jet.

It’s in somebody’s ‘story’ which I don’t think I can link to. If they post the shot to their main feed I could share.
